1: Acquire Materials
2: Metal and Wood Cuts
I. Cut your Aluminum Bare Rectangular tubes and the two wood pieces using the miter saw.
II. Cut the 45° angles on the aluminum the side frame pieces to prepare for welding.
I. Weld the side frame pieces at the 45° angles. II. Weld the 24” cross beams connecting the two side frames to complete the frame. Note: The parallel 15’’ Aluminum Tubes from the top and bottom frame are the same top 15’’ Aluminum in the Side Frame.
III. Sand down welded edges smoothly
4: Sand and Stain Wood pieces
I. After thoroughly sanding, stain the wood with any color.
5: Assembling the wood pieces
I. Using the 1’’ corner braces, secure the wood pieces to the underside of the aluminum frame. 6: Enjoy your new coffee table!
